Last Light, was inspired by my own joyous evening, soaking up the final hours of light one summer’s evening in Dee Why. It brought me great pleasure to bring the warmth of the light approaching dusk to life on linen.
There is an interplay of drawn marks with oil stick, painted layers of brushstrokes and the raw linen surface that dances just beneath like dappled sunlight.
